Well I left Hughesville at the end of tenth grade and although I didn't graduate from there, I spent 11 years in the school district and was glad to be added to this web site. I can't wait to see everyone at the next reunion and I am sorry I missed the last one. Kim did a great job tracking me down! Now if I could only track down my sister. She never returns my phone calls.
I joined the Air Force out of high school and they sent me to North Dakota for four years. Brrr. They trained me to be a cook, so I had the oven to keep me warm. I excelled at recipe reading in the military kitchen, so the Air Force decided to send me to Wilkes University for four years to become a registered nurse. Yeah, I was one of those ROTC chicks that had to wear a uniform to class. I was then sent to California (got luckier the 2nd time around)for four years to play MASH.
I got out of the Air Force in 2000, just in time to miss the Iraq war, and moved to Philadelphia to get my Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Drexel University.
While in Philadelphia, I met my husband to be, and we moved to NYC. (He works there.) After having a couple of kids, we decided that two kids and two cats in a one bedroom apartment wasn't quite working out, so we bought a house in New Jersey.
I can't believe I'm a Jersey girl now but here I am happily married and mothering, which puts me back in the kitchen. I still excel at the recipe thing.
